Hi! I'm Akidney, a Leeds-based game programmer working in Unity and Unreal Engine. What hooks me is the invisible stuff - the systems underneath a game that make it feel alive rather than scripted.

Most of my work sits in three areas: AI that reacts (finite state machines, Behaviour Trees), combat that reads clearly (state-gated attacks, combo systems), and networking that holds up under real players (replication, Steam integration, save systems). Right now I'm deep in Life or Lead, an ongoing multiplayer shooter where I lead the programming.

I'm looking for my first industry role as a Game Programmer - based in Leeds, and open to relocating within the UK.
